Albergo Reggio is located in the heart of the city of Reggio Emilia
If you plan to arrive at Albergo Reggio by car, please use the following directions. Although they may be up-to-date, sat-navs are not entirely accurate and they will not lead you right to the Hotel.
From the A1 motorway, Bologna – Milan, get out at Reggio Emilia. Out of the toll barrier, follow the directions leading to the town centre. Travel about 4 km until you are near downtown. Then follow the signs to the Hotel Posta Parking Lot (Hotel Reggio is its outbuilding, about 100 meters away).
The hotel is in a pedestrianised area with CCTV. Please let Reception know your car registration (after you check-in).
From the central train station (‘Stazione Centrale’)
From Reggio Emilia train station, if you are on foot, walk all the way along Via IV Novembre, cross the ring road and then turn right into Via Emilia San Pietro, continue along it for 1 km until you come to Piazza del Monte, where Hotel Posta is located. Alternatively, you can use a taxi – the journey should last around 5 minutes and should cost around €5. Public transport is the other option, with the services running until 8.00pm.
From the TAV high-speed train station (‘TAV – Altavelocità Mediopadana’)
The Mediopadana station is located around 3 km north of the city centre. By taxi, the journey takes around 10 minutes and should cost around €10, alternatively there is a bus that runs until 8.00pm.
From Bologna’s ‘Guglielmo Marconi’ airport, the hotel is located around 60 km away, along the A1 motorway heading towards Milan. Take the Reggio Emilia exit, then follow the “BY CAR” instructions given above.
